Frequently Asked Questions
How does the free trial work?
You pick a plan and start a 10-day free trial. We collect your card to start the trial, but you are not charged until day 10. Cancel anytime before then and you won't pay anything.
What happens after the 10-day trial?
Your plan begins and your card is charged for the first month. If you cancel before the trial ends, you're never billed and the app simply stops processing new files, nothing is deleted.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. There are no contracts. Cancel during the trial to avoid any charge, or later from inside the app, your subscription stays active until the end of the period you've paid for.
Can I switch plans?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade between Basic and Pro at any time from your account. For Enterprise, just reach out and we'll set it up with you.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards, processed securely through Stripe. Filect never sees or stores your card details.
Is my data safe?
Yes. File processing is handled securely via OpenAI's enterprise API. Your data is never stored by Filect and is never used to train public AI models. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.
